The co-op Brashear/Novinger baseball team hosted Sturgeon Monday. Neither team scored until Brashear put up a run in the 3rd. Sturgeon took a 3-1 lead in the top of the 5th but Brashear answered with 4 runs in the bottom of the 5th for a 5-3 lead. Sturgeon tied the game at 5-all in the 6th and the score was still tied after 7. The Tigers finally got the walkoff win 6-5 in 8 innings. Cade Erwin got the game winning rbi and also had another single and a double, Cole Erwin had 2 singles and a double, with Cory Holcomb, Koenn Stewert, Bailyn Halley, and Quincy Chapman also having hits. Bailyn Halley went 4.2 innings, striking out 9 with Drew Magruder striking out 8 in relief.
